What is GPR? Ground penetrating radar is a detection method that uses radio waves to locate post tension cables, electrical conduit and communications lines that could be encased in concrete. As the signal encounters different elements within concrete a reading is sent back to the receiver. This action determines the location and depth of buried cables and utilities.
